Relegation & Promotion procedure for Asia & Junior Asia Cups

Men’s Asia Cup
An 8 team tournament with the two lowest ranked countries being relegated to the AHF Cup. Consequently the top two countries from the AHF Cup will be promoted to the Asia Cup.

Women’s Asia Cup
An 8 team competition. The two lowest ranked countries will be relegated to the AHF Cup. Consequently the top two countries from the AHF Cup will be promoted to the Asia Cup

Men’s Junior Asia Cup
A 8 team tournament with the two lowest ranked teams being relegated to the Men’s Junior AHF Cup. Consequently the top two countries from the Men’s Junior AHF Cup will be promoted to the Junior Asia Cup.

Women’s Junior Asia Cup
A 8 team tournament with the two lowest ranked teams being relegated to the Women’s Junior AHF Cup. The top two countries from the Women’s Junior AHF Cup will be promoted to the Women’s Junior Asia Cup.
